Candidates from the CPGE (preparatory classes for the Grandes Ecoles) will take their entrance exam between June 27^th and July 11^th in the oral exam centre in Paris or Rouen.

The interview lasts 30 minutes with 20 minutes of preparation time. The aim is to highlight the candidate’s qualities in terms of expression, thought process and argument. The candidate introduces him/herself and presents his/her background and ambitions. He/she answers 1 of a choice of 2 questions provided during preparation time. The questions relate to their current or future engineering career. The exam enables the interviewer to assess motivation and qualities of expression.

The candidates will be welcomed to a friendly setting (coffee and croissants!) by ESIGELEC staff and students who can answer their questions (apprenticeship, opportunities, accommodation, transport, social life, majors etc.).

Students will be happy to show oral exam candidates in Rouen around the school and laboratories.
