The Rouen Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the ESIGELEC IRSEEM Group will open the new Embedded Systems Integration Campus (CISE) on September 6
th 2012 before an audience of senior officials from the Haute-Normandie Prefecture, CREA (Rouen county council), Haute-Normandie Regional Council, Seine-Maritime Regional Council and the Rouen Academy.
Guests are expected to arrive at 4pm at ESIGELEC in the Amphi Charliat for an official welcome meeting by Christian Hérail, President of Rouen Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Guillaume Devauchelle, President of the IRSEEM Board of Directors, Didier Pézier, President of the ESIGELEC Board of Directors, and Eric Durieux, Managing Director of ESIGELEC and IRSEEM.
The round table meeting will be preceded by a talk from Vincent Mascré, Aircelle CEO (SAFRAN Group), on the subject of "Innovation and development: Local roots for a leading international aeronautical equipment company".
After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the official guests will visit the CISE’s technological platforms before having a cocktail in the function room.
IRSEEM teams have been at the CISE since February and the Campus has already hosted the GRR EEM (Energy, Electronics and Materials large-scale Research Network), a digital technology “Préfiguration Filière Numérique” half-day and several training programmes. Researchers will have the opportunity to present their work and projects when the platforms open.
