Cooperation strengthens with Check Point

As part of the cooperation between ESIGELEC and Check Point, on October 12, 2016, fifty students attended a conference at ESIGELEC on Cyber Threats presented by Thierry Karsenti, Vice-President of European Engineering at Check Point.

This collaboration allowed students in the fields of Network Security and Architecture and Business Affairs – I.T. and Networking to take advantage of a course on cyber-security, which will enable them to respond to the major recruitment needs of companies in this sector.

Two introductory sessions by two Check Point instructors where held on October 14 and 21 for these two fields of study as well as an advanced level session, which took place on October 25.

At the end of this final training session, students performed an assessment test for the skills acquired during these sessions. The 7 best students were given a educational kit and a voucher, a code giving them free, privileged access in order to pass the Check Point Certified Security Administrator certification exam in an accredited centre.

Blandine Delaporte, Security Engineer Team Leader of Check Point and graduate of ESIGELEC Promo 1999, worked particularly hard to put together this collaboration and also participated in the training sessions.
