On 28 May, we will be playing host to drones from engineering schools and universities around the country for the first indoor drones race! ESIG’TRONIX, ESIGELEC’s electronics and robotics club, will be organising the University Multirotor Race in Rouen.  Teams representing a number of schools are expected to bring along their multicopters for this immersion flying event. Lots of prizes will be up for grabs.  And for anyone whose equipment still needs some fine tuning, the club’s partner, PFV Passion, can provide racing kits.

According to Augustin Muller: “This challenge originally came about out of a desire to share the thrill of FPV (immersion flying). Actually, FPV racing is booming and is a great way for students to learn about drones.”
